Safety Information & How TO

Please Note: Due to the varying heights inside of microwaves its recommended that you check your pouch has clearance between the inside of your microwave and the top of the pouch by roughly 1-2cm to prevent the pouch from falling over.

Our products are not for human consumption.
Once melted, the contents will be hot, use protective gloves and do not allow them to contact the skin.
Do not overheat the wax, whilst dangerous it may also affect the quality of your candle.
Keep out of reach of children, and pets at all times.
Some essential oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy. Please contact your health care professional before lighting.
Never leave a lit candle unattended and do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Burn on a fire safe surface only. Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire. If burning multiple candles together, candles should be at least 8cm away from each other.
Stop using your candle when there is around 1cm of wax remaining, remove remaining wax, clean your vessel and refill!

Step 1

Remove everything from the bag except the wax.

Place in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes, until the wax is fully melted. If all of the wax has not melted then continue to microwave in 10 second intervals until it is all melted. No microwave? Pop the bag in a pot of boiling water until the wax has melted.

Step 2

Place the wick in the centre of your chosen jar and secure it in place using the wick holder.

Step 3

Once the wax is ready, pour it into your jar of choice and allow it to settle for a minimum of 3 hours. Letting it set overnight would be preferred, but 3 hours is usually enough.

Step 4

Remove the wick holder and trim the wick to approximately 1 cm.You can now light your candle and enjoy!

TIPS:

DO NOT forget to attach the enclosed safety label to your candle.

The possibilities are endless when you come to choose a jar to use, however, we recommend a jar that will not leak, crack, or catch fire, avoid plastics, wood, and anything flammable.

For a single wick candle, we recommend a jar with a diameter of around 8cm.

If you are using a container with a larger diameter, or an irregular shape, you'll likely need an additional wick. Please contact us as soon as you place the order with and we'll add an extra in the pouch for you for free, because we're kind like that.

On first burn, let the whole surface of the wax melt before extinguishing, this prevents the candle from tunneling.

Before each use, trim the wick to approx. 1cm, for a cleaner more even burn.

A range of candle jars and wick trimmers are available on our online store.
